NEW BESTSELLERS

We created Sol y Sirenas as two Polish friends brought together by a shared aesthetic and a love for Australia. Our company is registered in Poland - this is where we pay taxes and where we build our everyday life. Our warehouse is located in the Podlasie region of Poland and is run by one of our mums. This is where your orders are carefully packed, in boxes and tissue paper sourced from Polish suppliers and shipped with local carriers.

Thanks to the experience gained from running our first brand in Australia since 2021, we now collaborate with a specialised sewing facility and print house in China. We carefully select partners who meet our standards of quality and responsibility. We work with the same facilities trusted by leading Australian brands, ensuring premium craftsmanship.

We produce exclusively using 100% cotton. We choose heavyweight, high-quality fabrics (230–360 gsm) that feel substantial, wear beautifully, and maintain their shape over time.

We work with a sewing facility that holds a GOTS certification, meaning the production process is monitored according to recognised environmental and social standards.

All of our fabrics carry the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, which means they have been tested for harmful substances and are safe for skin contact.

The facility we collaborate with operates under internationally recognised labour assessment standards (SLCP). For us, responsible production is not a slogan  it’s a series of conscious decisions made at every stage of creation.

Who Designs Our Graphics?

Most of our designs are created in-house - Sol y Sirenas is an independent, author-led brand, with illustrations developed in Poland and Australia. We also create selected collections and individual designs in collaboration with artists from around the world. These collaborations are always clearly credited. In rare cases, we use licensed graphic elements. Whenever we do, we use them strictly in accordance with licensing terms and applicable law. Supporting creative work ethically is important to us.

Printing Method

PRINTING METHOD

Our designs are printed using the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) digital printing method with water-based inks. This technology allows us to achieve a soft hand feel and precise detail.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analyses suggest that digital printing can reduce water consumption and waste compared to traditional methods, particularly for smaller production runs.

However, the environmental impact of any printing technology depends on multiple factors, including energy consumption at the facility, ink composition, and production scale. For this reason, we do not describe this method as “environmentally neutral.” Instead, we choose solutions that, in our assessment, help reduce excessive resource consumption.
